FUNCTIONALLY COLORS IN SCHOOL
Functionally colors in school. The functionality of color in the school is meant to achieve that students feel more comfortable in the school premises. To reduce visual fatigue and related disorders to enhance the participation of pupils to teachers. To encourage them to discipline and sense of order and clean.
For the focal color, which is a view mostly directed learners, chosen with cold tones that the walls of the optical remote. And thus increase the space and disseminated. It applies to the front wall in the classroom, where the views of pupils throughout the school faces.
The same should be done when choosing colors for walls, in which the windows and from where comes the light. This wall must be in bright colors, as close as possible background colors that we see when looking through the window in the yard or garden. It will give the desired color surround effect because the unsaturated bright color walls adjust light windows and create the impression of a kind of haze.
Student at the entrance to a grade class sizes appears larger than they are because he is a focal wall with windows. At which point arrival in class, first glance turns, so to speak, withdrawal and merging with the courtyard value in the vast whole. The optical color effect is even more effective if they also paint hallways and entrance hall adequately selected.
The entrance hall and corridors in the school must be in warm and vibrant colors that humans animate, inspire, warm places, but optically narrow and closer, so the child, when entering into almost literally attracted to and embrace. Hallways should be provided with bright colors that emit so much light in typically darker spaces.
Would it have to be less bright than classes?
The rear wall of the classroom, where students are facing the back, should be in a warm color (e.g., Cream). Because the class brings warmth and color variations, and it works more pleasant and more visually appealing.
The same is true if we want to reduce visual fatigue. If we wish to eye gets tired quickly, and students can persist as long as possible to focus the view on the blackboard and the teacher, then it must be the false wall in calm, cool colors (diluted green, sky blue).
Warm colors would be too challenging and would bother much faster. Therefore, they should be avoided (saturated red, orange, purple, white, black, brown).
The rear wall, which should be in warm colors, the focal teacher, because he directed his gaze almost continually teaching. Therefore, it is right that it constantly slightly irritating, stimulates. And from passivity puts inactivity. The opposite is exact for students to take them front wall soothing because they are already too busy.
Ceilings in the classroom should be as brighter, both because of the light that shines. Because they look at the bright ceiling tiring, and consequently, the withdrawal of the child spontaneously look away, to calm the color of the front wall. From this, a lighted ceiling to assist the child in concentration, alertness, and in collaboration with teachers.
